Motorhome Holidays in the UK Holidays in the UK are getting more and more popular each year and 2008 is going to be no exception. With the Pound (£) being very weak against the Euro (€) - today the exchange rate is €1.27891 = £1 whereas this time last last year it was more like €1.4. This has caused many people to decide to explore the UK, instead of heading off to Europe,  but there are more reasons to explore the UK:

There is massive variety of things to do in and around Scotland, Wales and England.
Although the temptation is always to jump on a plane and head south to the sun, but now many  people are concerned with their ‘carbon  footprint’ and would like to have a more green holiday. I this case a motorhome holiday in the UK is a good compromise: there are no planes involved,
the journeys made in the UK tend to be shorter than in Europe.
The overall distance travelled tends to be less than in a car based holiday as many families and couple like to ‘camp up’ and then go exploring by bike, bus or just walking.

Although we all like the sun, we now know that too much UV radiation causes premature aging and more serious problems such as skin cancer, so for some the warm, humid UK summers are just right.
